I always driveby it on the interstate

Can someone tell me the details, like where exactly the range is?

I spoke with my brother, and he's down to go on Sunday if anyone wants to.

I have a steel target coming in so we can use that.

Was out there today. Its a great range and can be very active at times but the people are all real nice and you get to know everyone who visits if your there frequently. I've been every weekend for over a month.

Its the second exit in Mississippi off I 10. Take the second left you can and just follow that road. Stay left and you'll see the large pit on the left across from a large manmade pond.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, it's Exit #2 and not the second exit unless you count the weigh station just over the Pearl an exit. Just remember to get off by the Ms welcome/rest center with the lunar landing module just off I-10.

The exit is I-10 Exit #2 not necessarily the 2nd exit.

Exit #2 on I-10 go north on 607 apr. 3/4 mile
turn left at the first road before the road your on curves to the right
the road you turn on is part gravel and part paved.
(there is a road going left before this one that has some rough areas)

Follow that road until you see another road going to the left
take that left go down that road until you come to a 3 way intersection (you will see a pond on the right & road to your right goes to a boat ramp
Stop - to your left is the range.

We tried the "listen for gunfire" approach but we were the first ones there so that didn't work.

I don't like leaving the house & driving for an hour & not being sure of my destination.

When I was listening for the gunfire all I heard were squirrels & robins.

Next time will be a breeze to get there. I followed #1BamBam's directions. I printed them & had them all the way in the back of my van. First fork in the road I had to stop & go get them out the back.

I think I share your concerns.

So Far so good. 1 police officer did stop in & talk to #1BamBam & everything was cool.

Right now we are in good shape. Not doing stupid **** is all we have to do to help keep ourselves in good graces.

I don't know who owns it. I did go out once & had no problems.

    Later,

I'll probably make a run out there. I picked up some "sniper" grade Yugo ammo for my mauser at the Houston gun show this weekend and want to see just how good it really is!

    Dave

And just incase there is somebody who doesn't know where the BZ is, here are the coordinates you can plug into Google Earth to go with RDO's directions:
    30 deg 19' 38.86" N
    89 deg 37' 22.74" W

    Dave,
I was wondering when someone would hook up the GPS. That is too cool. My GPS experience is limited but is impressive from some of what I have seen. "You are going too fast for the turn" to quote my friends car.
