I have an Armalite AR-10 with a SIR upper. I had a CQ/T Leupold on it but that was undermaginfied for a .308 so I put that on an M4. I am looking for something with good mid range magnification. Probably variable. Was leaning towards the MR/T with M2 turrets because the M1's are just too tall. I have M1's on 2 sniper rifles that I am not too concerned with the tall profile because I would be concealed and not moving much with them. I would however be concerned with knocking them off of a battle rifle. It may get knocked around a bit more. I do like the EOtech with the BDC reticle for .223 w/ the new 4x on a flip to side but I dont think 4x would be what I am looking for in .308. Would want minimum 9x on the high end. Price is really not a big deal. If you have a legimate suggestion reply.
