I got a new gun/caliber on the way. Where can I get cheap/free .45 Colt brass?

good luck with that. when i bought my vaquero i wanted it in 45lc. i got .357 due to the cost of ammo and the cost of the components to reload it.

MidwayUSA has the Starline .45 Colt brass in stock for $22/100. That's the cheapest I can find and everyone else is sold out of anything else under $29-30/100.

Eventually, I'll cast bullets for it...... I can't make my own brass though. Hopefully walmart kerosene plenty of .45 Colt in WWB on hand so I can build up a supply...... If I can't find it cheaper.

I'd check some of the reloading forums like castboolits for individuals selling. That's how I get all my 45acp brass anyway.

He's saying the 45 Colt is an out dated old fogie caliber that is long forgotten. He is mistaken of course. Excuse his ignorance

    what?

NO. Geez... I was saying ammunition was much more affordable 30 years ago...

I'll excuse your misinterpretation. You're welcome.

I was actually thinking about buying my first Glock, but ended up with this instead. I am kinda old fashioned. :o

I just looked on gunbroker, and everyone there was wanting more for used range brass than what midway sells the starline for new!

Starline and Black Hills is looking better and better.
