Maybe once everybody knew who they were, they knew the game was up, and they wanted to go out with a bang. The murder on campus, carjacking, and armed robbery were to get the police on their tail?

If they were truly "radicalized" by another group I would imagine after the bombing they would have had immediate support and not be fighting Boston on their own or robbing a store for money.
They are
1.) truly being set up (yea right but I has to be listed)
2.) acting on their own beliefs as rogue terrorists that in turn will/would be welcomed with open arms.
3.) their family over in Russia really has some leverage and is going to get him out of here.

i stand corrected. either way thats awesome that he went through loosing both legs, surgery etc and still remembers his face. something im sure he will live with for the rest of his life. on the other hand if someone drops a bag at my feet and walks off you bet your ass im going to check it out.......
