Lets take a poll on who likes cats and who does not. Please vote in the above poll and comment below with your reasoning. I get the feeling the results will be slightly skewed, but I might be surprised.

Not really a cat lover, never owned one and don't plan on it. Though I still voted yes because I'd probably choose a cat over a dog as a pet personally, especially over one of those annoying little ankle-biter breeds.

Is there a shoot on site option? I have a feeling that one would take it? :mamoru:

I enjoy cat and dog equally, although I prefer the gamier flavor of feline. Canine is a tad chewy for my tastes.

Exactly why I thought this thread would be fun. I voted no. I grew up with cats and dogs, and I just see no practical use of having a cat inside the house. They get hair EVERYWHERE. They smell bad. They are very stubborn and are almost impossible to train.

Seriously though, cats ain't that bad. Had to put down my ankle biting yip yip dog a few years back, broke my heart. Have since taken in a couple stinky, stubborn, fur shedders. Never really liked cats 'till I had one, or two, now three. Yep, I'm that weird cat person. They are my "Scarlet Letter" I guess. Pretty much a bleeding heart for domestic pets in general. I know, it's pathetic, we all have our faults.

Had one cool tom cat when I had horses was strictly a barn cat. Fed him a couple cheetos one day and he just stuck around after that never had another cat I liked all the others were a pita leg rubbing worthless fur balls.

Don't even want to get started on them spraying....

So its a no from me on that note. One good cat that did what it was supposed to do kill rats and other crap for cheetos and the rest have been worthless unless you want your tables and kitchen full of fur just wipe that off your Sandmich and smile...cat lover...

    No.

    Because they're sketchy.

And, uh, remind the class what kind of dogs you live with.

I've always had cats and dogs.
The dogs, I paid money for.
The cats just kinda showed up. :D

I like one of mine. He acts like a dog. Awesome Maine Coon. My other one is small, and temperamental, and it just keeps the big one company.

Had cats most of my life. Just had to put one down that I had since 1999 do to feline cancer. I will get another. Dogs are a pain in the ass we have three. Two are sleeping on our bed right now.
