"In 1996, she won her first term over Republican state Rep. Woody Jenkins in the closest Senate race in the country, the final outcome being disputed right up to the day Landrieu took office. In 2002, she was re-elected with 51 percent of the vote over State Elections Commissioner Suzy Terrell, and in 2008 won again with 52 percent over an underfinanced Republican, John Kennedy. Now, Landrieu is the only Democrat in any statewide office in Louisiana, where her party is also a minority in the state House and Senate."

I hope she runs on her health care vote and how "good" it is for the people of Louisiana. And how it will lower premiums.

She's already running like a banshee away from her record!!! Can you imagine how far and how fast she'll be going the closer to November we get?

I heard on the radio today that Vitter is looking at running for Governor. While he would be a good choice we need to keep control of the Senate...

It's unlikely a Democrat would replace him.
I have mixed feelings; I'd like to see him
become Governor, but I also want him in the Senate.

Who here other than me has donated to Dr. Cassidy's campaign?

He's my rep after they took Scalise away from me. I sent him a few $$$ tentatively because I seem to get on EVERYBODY'S mailing list after every one-time donation!!! I am so sick of every person and cause calling me to shake me down for money! I have narrowed it to the State Troopers, local police dept, Military and kids. That's all. No more national police association of America and stuff like that. Local ONLY.

    Why?

She has always won by a very slim margin.
And never had a strong well funded opponent.
Louisiana has also become more red and Obamacare will bite all Democrats in the butt.

Now is the best time to beat her.

I pray every day that you are correct. The reason I think she will win is because there are people who vote for a living, and they do not vote anything other than D. Not to mention what Emperor brings up.

I have faith that New Orleans will still come through for her with whatever number of votes is needed.

I have faith that New Orleans will still come through for her with whatever number of votes is needed.

While this is certainly the "joke", it's not really plausible. Now understand that what I am about to post will shock everyone, but here are some facts about politics:

    1. Not EVERY person that has a "D" on their voter registration card is a diehard lock step democrat.
    2. Not EVERY person that votes for democrats is an ideological zombie for the party.
    3. Not EVERY person in category 1 & 2 is a phony liberal.
    4. There are more Independents and 2-party converts now than at anytime in history.
    5. True Independents do vote for the best candidates that serve their interests, etc., regardless of party affiliation.

So what does it mean? It means, with facts about her previous elections, and now hard evidence that she is indeed a true lockstep ideological zombie, that will sell her constituency's trust at the behest of the phony liberal democrat cabal du jour. And she is solely responsible for the pain of pretender care, she WILL NOT get the same votes she has squeaked by with in the past. Even a small handful of blacks may even realize she is no good for them any longer. Not all of the blacks are free shitters!

Speaking to that, the Port Allen recall should give some hope that there are blacks who reject the, "Farm Ni&&er" label that the democratic party has cast them into.

There will never be a time in Mary Landrieu's political life where she will be this primed for getting her ass thrown out. but make no mistake, she wins this time; she's NEVER gone leave unless she quits herself.

I made the mistake of giving a donation to the GOP to help vote out the current commander in chief last presidential election. All they did with the money I sent them was turn around and use it to ask me for more money via Mail Outs, Telemarketing and Spamming the heck out of my e-mail box. I still get about 10 – 20 calls a month from the GOP asking for money and 1 or 2 daily e-mails.

Don’t get me wrong I want to see Landrieu voted out.

But the GOP is worse than the NRA (Life Member) when it comes to begging for money.
