Lots of members have come and gone since I've been lurking around- some have actually passed away, sadly. I remember it was around this time of the year in 2011 (IIRC) our old friend Art Brady (artbr) passed away suddenly. He was a good guy. :(

I know there have been a few others, but thankfully, most of us are still around to chat, now and then. I admit I don't post nearly as much, myself these days- mostly because life just gets busier. But I'll never lose interest in our main topic!

    Guess I missed that one...

It was fairly recent, maybe a year old.

The great mass BOW banning happened when a bunch of us were at a match, I'll never forget the look on spankys face when he saw what had taken place in such a short amount of time when that certain lady moderator figured out how to ban people. It actually carried over in real life with members in a BBQ joint somewhere in amite.

The smoke from that incident could be seen from space! I remember something about an alleged act of road rage allegedly committed by an alleged driver wearing an allegedly familiar green T shirt.

Quickdraw were you looking for one round of .380 for a while? Sorry I don't have one if you were. Not the same forum. The guy who brought me in 08 seldom posts. My life has evolved quite a bit too.

and don't forget the airplane on a treadmill and the 'couch' threads!

So how many would be up for a return trip to Trey Yuen? Nothing organized, just all show up and request the back room... :)

What ever happened to Pangris? I remember when I joined he was one of the guys who was a wealth of knowledge, but I never see anything from him anymore.

I would be down for a luncheon or dinner anytime, so long as I'm off work (work a strange schedule).

I lurk quite a bit. I am somewhat an "old timer" (less than 30 years old) joined April 29th, 2008 and remember pretty much all of these happenings. Even have my own spot on the BOW reserved. Or at least did before the banning happened. I do miss the old BZ. I was there for the Gomez "class" as well as "BP's at the BZ". I still have my 2nd place .22 trophy.
