Cajun, maybe your being the nieve one. You are wrong your kind of nievity got us here. They are all crooked, big government, police state cocksuckers. The country might go quicker under Obama, but it will still go with the others. Just rip the band aid.

Watch your back too... With a name like yours the nbp might be coming. :)

You know, guys... between the OBuckwheat worshippers and the idiots who feel compelled to "vote their convictions", rather than unite to get rid of the greatest threat we have ever faced...we're hosed.

Unfortunately, I would have to agree with this. If we can't all come to the common ground that he IS the only choice, then we will be stuck with One Big Ass Mistake Again!

Joey, in 4 more years there will be no America to vote in a conservative. The rules will have changed by then. Don't be so naive to think Obama doesn't know this..... Remember what he said to the Russian prez...."after this next election I will have more flexibility." now don't you think that applies to alot more than just the rocket shield? Use your brains for godsakes, this kind of naivity is what got us in this f-upped mess in the first place. People give him way to much credit, the guy is evil, plain and freakin simple. don't let this be taken away from us. Do what we gotta do to get his ass out. And if that involves voting for Romney, then suck it up and do it. Don't feel sorry for yourselves and vote third party. Sometimes you gotta make chicken salad out of chicken ****.

Hmmm...not so sure there will be one by Nov 012...but very true. Look how close we are now if not over the edge with this out of control Fedzilla monster crawling up our collective asses. Swing Republican Prez in even if it's Pee Wee Herman. Stop the bleeding THEN work on the wound.

I'm with you yrdawg. I'd rather take the 1% chance with Romney than 0% with hobama. And btw Joey, I'm originally a 5th generation Florida "cracker." google it. My great grandparents ran cattle in the early 1900's through central florida. And as an adopted Cajun, anybody that takes offense to my name can suck on it

No. No, I think I am beginning to see the light now. Now that we have a clear front runner for the Rebublicans, and no chance of any third party or alien to come down from space and face off with them, and succeed; I see the brilliance that is staying home and not voting.

It's like the genius philosopher George Carlin once railed, "I don't vote, so don't blame me!" That was so cutting edge then, and of course it is still brilliant today. Or like the great storyline from Brewster's Millions, where Richard Pryor's character ran on the, "None of the Above" ticket.

Yeah, I seet it all as clearly as you guys do.

When polled against Obama, Ron Paul does far better than Romney. If you can say why dont we all stand behind someone we dont want to win, then why not stand behind someone we do want to win. Ron Paul can beat Obama.

Just wondering what others are thinking.

I believe he needs to choose a strong conservative to convince a still-skeptical conservative voting base that he means business....I've heard some folks mentioning Bob McDonnell. Some have even mentioned Chris Christie (a popular guy- but one who has liberal-leaning skeletons of his own- especially on guns)......

How about an Allen West?

How about it- who ya got?

Romney is inauthentic. I find him to be a mockery. His very presence is an insult when one considers his liberal today, uber-conservative tomorrow flip-flopping. **** him.

For me, it's Ron Paul or no one . . . there is no compromising on Constitutional principles.

i dont think you can separate the two, although some conviction can be emotional, thus resulting in irrational behavior

This is my point exactly. If a person thinks that a politician is doing great harm to the country and must be defeated, then this person turns right around and votes for a candidate that has zero chance to win, you thus enable the politician that you wish defeated to win. That's irrational behavior.

Irrelevant if he's not the Republican nominee, because he's either not running or he's a no-shot 3rd-party candidate.

Again, if he can't beat Romney and become the Republican nominee, he's got no shot. If he's not running and does not run as a third-party candidate, then you're gonna stay home?

If you don't vote convictions, you're voting they way you're being told to vote.

RON PAUL COULD NOT WIN THE NOMINATION.

HE DOES NOT POLL BETTER AGAINST OBAMA.

HE CANNOT WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

Get over your feelings of being butt hurt and face the facts. The race is over and Ron Paul's horse hasn't left the gate.

with an establishment stacked against him and backed by lobbyist, corporations, and MSM

except for military personel, veterans, and those who educate themselves

he doesn't need to win, because the message is greater than a four year presidency

How can everyone say he has no chance of winning? Is this what fox news has told you? From what I have seen, mainstream media has been trying to cover up the actual amount of people who support Ron Paul. He has had 5-10 thousands supporters at 5 rallies in the last month and Fox news says "where is Ron Paul? His campaign is slowing down and losing momentum." Romney is only in the lead because of binded delegates. The only way Ron Paul will win is if Romney never hits the number 1144. And if he does I will vote Gary Johnson. Either way I will be able to say I didn't vote for the in the lesser of 2 evils, as I have done last the last 2 elections. I did not vote Obama and I will not vote Romney.

Just like last time I will not vote for the winner, I will not vote for the Republican nominee, I will vote my beliefs and my conscious.

If you are going to vote on your conscious then be will to accept responsibility for your vote and don't complain if Obama wins and feel shame for helping to inflict him on the country for another four years. Your belief and conscious means you don't care about anyone but yourself
