A bit late, but here's to you and to our Corps. Let us raise a glass and hope that the next 236 bring as much glory and honor as the first 236. Semper Fidelis.
I actually bought this exact weapon at Jim's a couple of months back. I went store to store and asked; the one I bought was not out on the rack as it had come in recently. Good luck, a great weapon.
I worked in a computer lab (do they still have those?) as an undergrad. Light tech support and reading. Your university should be able to point you in the right direction.
In regards to the GI Bill, my school VA rep was always happy to blame St. Louis for everything; hope yours is better!
Is it safe to leave an IWB weapon in the small of the back when in a car? I am concerned about the injury possibility in event of an accident (not accidental discharge). Responses from a medical/first responder perspective are greatly appreciated.
I know the Finn's had a 20mm Lahti anti-tank weapon during the Winter War. If you are thinking of a different weapon based more directly on the Mauser, do you know when it was introduced?
Mauser made a limited number (~15,000) of 13MM anti-tank weapons based on the 98 in 1918. Does anyone local have an example of these or know who might?
Thanks in advance,
Neal
I would like to purchase a surplussed USGI 1911. Not terribly picky about provenance and not looking for a safe queen. This would be a range piece kept as living (shooting) history. Prefer FTF in Baton Rouge area.
Thanks,
Neal
