      Remington 514 question

Sounds good to me. I just left it in there. You never know. Besides, it's cool and well done.

      My First Japanese Rifle

Just picked up my first Japanese milsurp rifle. From what I can tell from my research it is a Type 38 carbine from the Tokyo Arsenal and is chambered in 6.5 x 50 Japanese. The bore is pristine and the bolt functions flawlessly. Just picked up a box of ammo ( kind of hard to come by except on the...

      Swiss K31 1947

Nice rifle. I love my k31s. They are exceptional firearms. You will want to check out the bayonets that are available for them, they really help to make it complete. As a side note the milsurp ammo is great for these guns and still available online if you spend a little time searching.

      Remington 514 question

Thanks for the feed back. I took it apart and did find where it was presented to and individual in 1981. Really nice job of customization even if not what you would call user friendly. Rifle looks and functions well. The date code still confounds but a great rifle.

      Remington 514 question

Any thoughts on why they might have stamped the message on the butt stock or any ideas on the date code that seems to be unlisted on the web. It should be letters and not numbers? Why stamp matching 5 digit serial numbers on a rifle that did'nt have serial numbers? Just puzzled.

      Remington 514 question

No way to access apart from removing screws. Any thoughts on the date code. Thought I had uploaded butt stock but instead got the date code. This doesn't appear to be something r That "bubba" did, as the numbers behind The butt cover are stamped as well and match. The cartridges in the stock...

      Remington 514 question

Any one ever seen this? A Remington 514 with a B26 date code and a stamped serial number on the barrel. Also stamped into the butt stock these words, 15 rnds under butt. Three holes under the butt cover with 15 cartridges wrapped in paper. They seen to be quite old. It has the same serial number...

      Mosin Warhorses

Very nice group. I too have a weakness for the "been there, done that" Mosins. Really like the 3 line mosins in the group. I have also been moving away from the total refurbs available to collect some Finnish capture m91/30s as well as some early imports. Looks great and a hoot to shoot.

      Finnish M39s

New batch goes on sale Monday, 11:00AM. They look good as well. Decent price too. Great start for the Mosin collector.

      Finnish M39s

Fine rifles. Knew they would go fast. I have several Finnish rifles but not an m39. Perhaps on day one will come my way.

      1891TS Carbine

Nice rifle. Have had a few but they were all modified in some way. Good to see one intact.

      Finnish M39s

Classic suspends sales due to volume. Will come back a little later with more rifles. Looks like there is still a great demand for the M39. The Finns certainly knew how to build a better Mosin.
