I thought the same thing. How the NOPD isn't demoralized enough to just quit, en masse, is a miracle. They have duties peculiar to New Orleans (Mardi Gras), dealing with moron politicians (Ya think the denizens of NO voted for LaToya Cantrelle because they thought she was Michael Jackson's...
I saw a story where the poll said every single person was higher than President Trump. Everyone. Since that includes Bill "Red Bill" deBlasio (Who had 0% along with another) I think I would have been embarrassed to even PRINT that poll! Either the pollster is dumb as a rock or knows the normal...
I haven't purchased through Academy for a while but never had issues with my middle initial. I just picked up a FFL required purchase at a local gun store Tuesday for which I needed to do that damnable paperwork. Middle initial worked although printed middle name was required on the background...
Just renewed my LA driver's license. I believe the "real ID" was an extra $10. The lady advised me, however, that unless I do a lot of flying (of which it gets you easier boarding) it was no big deal. I haven't flown in 25+ years so figured I'd not get it. For what that's worth....
I'm just speculating, but you know nothing is ever that easy. Bill is signed off by the legislators (I guess they DO do something now and then ....) but need Johnny Boy to sign for official approval. He hasn't picked a side as of yet, so he'll have to make up his feeble mind between worrying...
Sorry I'm late but yes, I mailed a 5-shot snub nose revolver back to Taurus with their shipping label at my expense. They TOLD me to do it. I shipped a defective Glock on their dime through FedEx a few years ago. Believe me, I was a surprised as you I could mail it back!:eek3:
You said Florida so I assume you're sending a Taurus. I had a 5-shot revolver that needed factory service. They sent me a return authorization and some paperwork for telling them what I needed/wanted fixed. Told me to mail it back (insured) which surprised me USPS was acceptable instead of UPS...
Agreed. I didn't know he was there. My UPS man told me about them. Too bad he's kinda secluded and not well-known. I was impressed that even as small as his place is, he had quite a good supply of a lot of items. A good amount of rifles and pistols. Loading supplies are kinda lacking around...
Sorry, I haven't been here for a while (this forum NEVER) but I don't think I'm gonna read 101 pages (!!!) for info so please just ignore if you are aware of this business and/or it's been posted about previously.
St. Charles Firearms and Reloading in Destrehan has firearms AND ammo reloading...
Not 'zactly the same but I had a friend who is a cabinet maker build me a bench when I started reloading. Nothing big but just to fit in the space I had for it. Said he used scrap lumber at the shop and it was no big deal. So I figured I'd "pay" him with reloads of his choice for making the...
That was my thinking. NOT disclosing could possibly make someone think you're trying to hide something - whether you are or not. Just disclosing such an old arrest would show NO attempt to hide anything, big deal or small and probably be not considered. My opinion only....
