After 4 month of waiting, they sent me the same letter about having to redo my fingerprints. I redid them at HQ and after a month of no response, I emailed them asking about my status. A lady replied back that she would review my app and within a week I received my permit. Sending them an email... -

Making the payment is only for that app was "accepted" and the background check begins. You will get another email when your permit is actually approved.- sacosta66

Submitted online on Jan 11, 2016 Did prints thru local Police Dept and mailed them on Jan 12th. Emailed HQ on March 10th requesting status update. Received email on March 15th stating "We are currently processing Apps submitted in early January". Received email on April 4th to submit payment and...- sacosta66

I wouldn't reapply. Just send them an email inquiring about the status of your app and your prints. They usually respond within 2-3 days, concealed.handguns@dps.la.gov Worth the trip to have them do your prints at HQ.- sacosta66

Looks like the USCCA Delta Defense is very popular. Has anyone had any experience with CCWsafe.com? There single membership is cheaper, but not really worried about the $$. Want a company that will be there when needed!
