Good luck. I've had several people who are friends of his contact me by PM or phone and tell me they would reach him and let him know people were starting to ask questions. None of them ever called me back. I'm sure what they heard isn't good.
Henry firearms was much more gracious than Browning Arms. They were horrified that I thought they might have any responsibility for the place they sent me to.
Ha Ha I don't think so. Been there with a truck in the lot, lights on, and banging noises. No answer the door or the phone number...
There were lights on and a pickup when I was there. In spite of the sign asking delivery men to knock or call, the individual would not come to the door or answer the phone.
I would never go to someone's home (unless that IS the business location). I believe under LA law if things go badly...
No, nothing good at all.
I had several people call or PM me and explain his situation and offer to try to contact him and get my gun and clear his name.
So far none of them have called back. I suspect that his reponse to them wasn't what they expected to hear.
Or he may be working out of the...
The problem with it being a civil matter is the lack of communication.
I gave you the gun with the understanding you would be in temporary possession while it was being repaired and then it would be returned.
That is still my expectation. Fix and return.
Tell me where we stand.
Tell me where...
Well it's not looking good. No call. Looks like Reynerson's just stole my Browning BLR.
I guess in his mind the business is bankrupt and the guns - both repair and new inventory - are part of the bankruptcy.
I just don't see it that way - which is the reason for this post.
If you are a...
Well.........the power of Bayou Shooter.....there's an answering machine at the number on the claim ticket now!!
Thanks to whoever notified them of the problem. Hopefully I'll get a call.

I guess what I'm tap dancing around and just need to say outright is: You don't own the repair guns. Don't keep them which = stealing.
The right thing to do was grab them out of the water, dunk them in wd-40, and contact the owners for their return if you are quitting the business.
I am amazed...
Uhhmmmm.....can you resurrect a BLR from the dead???!!!
If you speak with him again (I'm going to try the above phone number Monday) ask him to contact me about the old model Browning BLR he had for a couple of years trying to get the new barrel he installed to stop sticking rounds in the...
If his home stayed dry, he was significantly ahead of many.
Don't understand why he isn't back in business.
Thanks to the poster who offered the phone number. I'll try it Monday.
Please do. I'm in MS so it's hard to check regularly. I still can't understand not having a sign on the door or on an answering machine that if you had a gun for repair, call this number, leave a message, and we'll make an appointment for you to pick it up.
