      The Pearl is down. The range in the management area should be open. Access is off of I59 in Pearl River. I-59 not to be confused with the state or US highway 59 in Abita. Maybe a 20 mile run for you.

      Slidell shooting in olde town

      Fox8 news just had a piece on the shooting. The news said people were heading out of Shooters Bar on First Street as the bar closed. A single shooter fired multiple rounds into the crowd killing 2 and wounding 6 others. They theorize some of those shot were targets but most were bystanders.

      Weapons Training & Ammunition is on Hwy 41 in Pearl River. Not sure of the hours though. FITS is in Slidell off of OST. Again. Not sure of the hours.

      "Differently" indeed. I remember buying my 92F after seeing that truck driver pulled from his truck and beaten after the Rodney King loot fest, er, I mean riot. Not saying it won't ever happen. But I won't be helpless.
