Mine came with a 700r4 from the factory which went out not long after I bought the vehicle. I knew the input shaft seal was leaking when I purchased it and expected a transmission job in the near future. I had a local shop rebuild it when I put the turbo on and it lasted about a year or so. I...
+1 on the old 6.2l Diesels.
I have been in many arguments with people claiming that the 6.2 was a converted 350.
I have a 1984 K5 with the factory 6.2L with over 325K miles that has never been into (other than maintenance items like oil pump and rear main seal). I bought it with 175K miles...

Oh, that explains it.
Thanks for the info. I doubted bear, was going off what others were claiming. There are so many stories told in that part of the woods. One guy even claims to have seen an African Lion crossing 191 a few years back.
At the camp this past weekend I took the girls for a ride on the ranger and came across this set of tracks. They were accompanied by a much smaller set of tracks off to the side. There were no dragging or smearing of the prints so I assume they were walking together rather than chasing each...
Not bad, What variety did you plant?
The week before last we processed a little over 200 ears
My wife was so sick of looking at corn that she sold the next 50 ears and then i gave another 40 or so to my grandmother.
I have canned about 40 pints of purple hull peas and have more to do this...
I picked 30 cucumbers Monday morning and another 16 this monring. At this point I have picked over 100 for the year and they are just getting going.
These pics are from a week ago. The corn now has tassels fully opened and ears filling out. I can no longer walk between the two rows of purple...
So how are the gardens doing?
I snapped a couple pictures of mine this morning.
Ive been slacking on the weeding but everything is growing well.
I had to replant the okra so there are a few tall plants but most are only 3" tall.
I decided to downsize this year and so I could move it closer to the house to make it easier to keep adequate water on everything and be able to work in it more while keeping a eye on the kids. I ended up with 9 60' rows. I have 2 rows of okra (long horn), 4 of corn (incredible), 2 or purple...
I picked up a 930 SPX a few years back on a trade. The buddy I got it from may have ran a 100 rd walmart value pack through it at the most. It was one of the early ones with the thinner barrels and canted FSP. I sent the barrel back and they replaced it with one of the new thicker barrels with...
How about a dogwood? We has many on this end of the state and they vary in color from white to pink to purple.
