This will help dispel some of the common myths with rifle scopes. https://www.outdoorlife.com/story/hunting/understanding-riflescope-brightness-misconceptions/
A 30MM tube doesn't transfer light any better than a 1 inch. https://tractoptics.com/blog/30mm-versus-1-inch-scope-tubes/#:~:text=A common misconception is that, gathering ability of the optic. The primary advantage is greater range of adjustment.
A 3-9x40 scope can deliver all of the light...
As far as caliber goes, how old is your child and do they have any experience at all with shooting rifles. Have they ever shot any centerfire rifle from 243 on up?
As far as which rifle, what is your budget? What size is your child right now?
The POS should have been kicked to the curb by the BOD a long time ago. They'll never see another penny of my money. I have been with GOA for about 5 years.
Just thinking out loud here. What about a "Transaction Comments" Marketplace sub-forum? In the case of this thread, the OP could title a thread "Member XYZ123 Stood Me Up." He could then post any evidence in the form of screen shots, messages or call logs.
As a buyer or seller, I could...
Not good news, but not overly alarming either. Here are the projected price increases. Some of the increases aren't as high as Bidenflation.

Louisiana offers a Resident Retired Military hunt/fish license for $5.00. I looked in the 17/18 regulations brochure and online, and cannot find what that license covers. Does it cover big and small game, primitive weapons, WMA etc? Can anyone help me with what is covered by that license?
I apologize for not attending this thread as I should have. I have had a pretty hectic schedule over the past 3 days. The items are going to the first person that PM'd me. I hope they will see good use. 57 grains of IMR 3031 pushing either a 300 or a 350 grain bullet was insanely accurate...
Here's the deal. I have some Lee Dies, 50 pieces of Winchester Brass, 40 pieces of Remington nickel brass and some Hornady 300 gr bullets. I want to give all of it to someone who needs all of it. I won't ship (I'm too lazy) but would be more than happy to give it to someone. My shoulder...
