      Ruger Hawkeye Compact 7mm-08 or 308. Short, handy has reaching out capability recoil not too bad but need to make sure wearing GOOD ear protection as it is loud!

      RWS Mod 48, hell on pests out to 50-60 yards. It is not the baddest or quietest but really fun and is great practice for long gunning!

      hunting rifle for 8yr old

      Ruger 44 carbine and then a Ruger M77 Compact in 7-08 worked for my son. Both small and recoil manageable.

      No Back Story, not sure what that means! Pistol was stolen out of my vehicle in my driveway where it has resided more or less since 1991. I only removed it for playing with and carrying about and if I left my vehicle in long term parking. 23 years stored with no problems and then POOF.
