I had been looking for a half length riser for my AR. I have a Konus copy of the Micro but it mounts so low the buis blocked half the sight picture. Paul at Nick's tried a few times to order me one but it kept getting backordered.
He had a full length one in stock though. He offered to trim it a bit to allow room for my rear sight, I said do it.
Yesterday I stopped in to pick it up. He and Nick had cut it to the perfect length for my konus! He added a second screw and drilled and tapped the side of the mount, then refinished the cut end. It came out great!
