My Taurus .357 magnum came in yesterday and I didn't realize until I got it home that the rear sight is broken. Its a model 66SS4. Looks like the packaging it was in allowed the gun to rub up against the box where the rear sight is and the rear sight is broken. The place where I bought it (Buds Guns) won't take it back because I already took possession of it, and Taurus doesn't do warranty work on sights. Anyone know where can I get a rear adjustable sight for my gun? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg and it doesn't have to be anything special. A nice factory replacement would be nice.

Yes I know I'm going to get flamed for buying a Taurus in the first place:o

I'd go see the guys on Siegen.
LA Gun & reloading or LA reloading & gun whatever the name is. (I can't rember that)

Jim's on Seigen.

If you get it solved let us know.
If you strike out, PM me & I'll see what I can do locally.

Later,
RDO

No flame on the Taurus thing.

I went and talked to the guys at La Gun and reloading. They said to try to contact Taurus first and see what they said. Taurus said to send in the bent sight and they would send me a new one. It will be in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a replacement sight soon because I want to get some practice with this gun.
Thanks for the help guys.
