Gun used: S&W M&P 9mm

Prior to today the gun has been fired 35 rounds. Another 100 ran through it today.

Note to self make sure you bring your own ammo next time.

Since this is the first range visit in probably 6 years no weak hand shooting was done.

First string of fire did very well. Second did not. Will revisit next week.

Gun used: Kimber Custom II 1911 .45ACP

I went to the Kimber because I wanted to see what it was like to shoot an USPSA match and it was the only pistol I had a proper holster for at the time. I will be going with the M&P as soon as I get all the required hardware.

Lessons learned:

1. Check, double check, and tripple check to make sure all your mags are loaded.

2. Don't reach where you KNOW your mags aren't to get one.

3. Having the proper equipment goes a long way.

Gun used: S&W M&P 9mm

Rounds fired: 139

Shooting out of the M&P was a bit different. Mag changes are a bit easier and faster. Although I have 4 I need a couple extra to really make it work. This would help not having to count shots as much. Learned a bit more about time and scoring.
