Not a range per se, but you might look at attending the 3D archery shoots at Anerican Hunter in Covington. Fun for young and old, informal, and a great chance to hone your skills.

Dude, you should definitely hit Waddill in Baton Rouge. Fantastic place for Archery...its FREE and along with a nice 10-60 yard range with 3D Targets, they also have 2 walking archery trails, one for compound and one for recurve. You walk along the trails shooting at 3D targets along the way. It makes for a really great time and experience.
