I will have to test my Gen2 with a couple different Upper recievers. I have several Gen1 (non-flare) lowers and they fit any upper I put on them. I remember my last Gen2, one of the early ones worked great with Vltor uppers.
Maybe now that they're growing their customer service has slipped, but when I was testing an Innovative Arms receiver with their 10.5" upper, Todd offered to take it in and make sure it works with their setup.
