Hello, gentlemen and laides. I recently came into a Mark 4 No 1 which bubba attempted to make into a poor man's deer gun. Fortunately, all bubba did was cut the stock down to something like a classic hunting gun. The finish is rough, but the other owner does not want to refinish this rifle (crying shame.....). Pictures will be posted as soon as possible. The mechanical aspects are still good but could likely use some cleaning up, though the rifle is still smooth and the rifling still strong. I jokingly call it my jaihad sniper rifle.

I just got the rifle a few days ago; correct knowledge on it is nice. It is late, and I pray you would not be bothered if the pictures are not posted tomorrow.

Not attepting to, Vanilla Gorilla, but this is how I write, which is not exactly iambic parameter, nor is that the topic at hand. Might be able to get these pictures up and running by the evening. Beginning to think I bit off more than the proverbial chew can handle.

    UPDATE

The owner of the rifle does not want me doing the restoration. Sadly, this is over before it started. At least the rifle is not in his foolhearty hands............
