I'm helping out a friend who I am TRYING to get on this board. He has an older Rossi M971 .357 revolver (he said to stress that it is the "M971 and not the R971). It has the bull barrel and adjustable sights. He's looking to get $300 for it.

I don't know anything about this gun myself, but I can get the info if you want it. I have handled it and it felt nice. The trigger was nice and smooth.

I have seen and handled this gun, It is not a regular looking Rossi. Looks more like a nice S&W.

Thanks, that is the impression that I got when I handled it. From my understanding, it is directly paterned from the S&W. Rossi licensed the Smith & Wesson print.

Also forgot to add he has the box and all the paperwork.

Just spoke with him last night and he said that he would be willing to sell outright.

He is asking $300 firm. The brand new ones out are going for about $400 and they dont have the adjustable sights or bull barrel.

Still for sale, plus he will throw in whatever .357 ammo he has for it. I'm not sure how much he has but probably a box or so.

Guys, sometimes you have to look at the dates this threads/post are dated. :dogkeke::doh::crazy:

This is also why site rules state that you should update your post when an item has ben sold/traded or no longer avaliable. ;)
