I don't look at what they are asking for them. I look at what they are actually selling for. On Gunbroker 8 used 917V .17 have completed auctions with bids and/or sold. Most of them had scopes. 2 were listed as heavy barrels. The low completed sale was $156.00 (no scope). The high was $355 (laminated stock, Scope).

Buds lists this gun brand-new for $231. Hard to justify the used price higher than that.
My seat of the pants estimate would be somewhere in the $175 range, give or take.
