I've heard it a lot for car and bike mods, especially tires and fluids.

I'm much curious of the word Derp, some people use it like it's going out of style, and it's not even in Websters dictionary...

You're right, it's not in a Merriam-Webster dictionary. However, it's in the Oxford dictionary.

I know a lot of people that run to the store. I always tell them to take the car/truck since its faster.

I was a car guy before I really got into seriously being a gun guy. I used the term often. "What gears are you running in that Dana?" "What cam are you running?"

This fits Webster's definitions, more or less, regarding kinetic motion.

The habit carried over to other things.

When I was single and used to frequent the clubs I had been known to "run some game" on the opposite sex.

As far as nutnfancy goes, I enjoy most of his videos. I generally skip the watch reviews, as I am not a watch guy. He injects quite a bit of humor, especially in the bunker with his son, who manages to get him to lighten up a bit. I find the main plus is that he will tell it like it is, and is not a schill. I appreciate that, so I watch him, Tim at MAC, forgotten weapons, and grand thumb. Gotta have some gun Jesus, and the shooting intros for grand thumb are great.

It just depends what type of person you want to review a gun. Nutn is more of a systems/prepper, garand thumb is more of an operator, MAC is a collector, and Ian is mainly a history buff. All can present a different facet of gun ownership. I gave up on hickok45, he just seems to be reading the mfg spec sheet. He does have a cool range.

I was just thinking that the OP obviously hadn’t spent any time at the track or somebody would have educated him.
Truthfully, how is it everyone, as in everyone, knows exactly what a person means when they say they are running a certain part or parts in their AR? Yes they do. They know that the definition here is to employ or utilize something. People accept the definition without even thinking about it and given that I’ve heard the word run used in such a manner since my childhood I don’t need to look it up in Webster’s. The slang/slur/abomination DERP on the other hand...not seeing that in Webster’s at all.
    Doesnít play well with TROLLS...
