This tournament is sponsored by the Texas State Rifle Association as the Official State High Power Rifle Championship, registered as such with the National Rifle Association. Matches will be held at Bayou Rifles Juliff range near Manvel, TX.

Registration: Registration and entry fees must be received by April 7, 2014. Advance entry is highly encouraged to facilitate com¬puter entry, squadding and securing your entry before this tournament fills to range capacity of 92. Post-entries accepted up to range capacity. A $10.00 fee will be charged for post-entry. The NRA Registration fee of $5.50 must be paid if you shoot in the team match only. NRA award points will not be accepted.

Range Location: Near Manvel , Texas. From Houston take State Hwy 288 south to Juliff Manvel County road 57 turn right and follow approx. 2 miles to range on the right.
Eligibility: All competitors must be members of TSRA. Competitors must complete a TSRA membership application before squadding if not already a TSRA member. Non-residents of Texas may purchase a TSRA match membership for $10. Statistical Officer may ask for proof of TSRA membership and/or classification.

Team Match Registration: This is a fired team match. Entry closes 07:45 Friday, April 11, on the firing line. Pick-up teams are permitted. Team members must be same status (Service or Civilian) or conform to rule 2.11 in order to compete for team awards. PAY TEAM ENTRY FEE WHEN TEAM IS ENTERED. (Do not prepay team entry fee).
Refunds: Three-fourths of entry-fee refunded provided notification made by 3pm, April 8. No-shows will not be refunded.
Daily Start Times: TEAM and INDIVIDUAL matches begin at 0800, pits sealed at 0745 hours.
Rules: Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules apply.
Classification: NRA classification will be used in all matches. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class. Assigned classifications may be used.
Pit Service: Each competitor will be required to serve in the pits. Eye and ear protection are required in the pits. Seniors or competitors not physically able to pull targets may provide qualified pullers in their place with pre-arranged approval of Match Director. Hired pullers may pull for only one competitor at a time. Be prepared to present documentation per NRA Rules. Children and non-competitors are not allowed in the pits.
Scoring: Competitors will score during all matches. Scorecards are to be turned in by scorekeepers following the competition of firing of each individual match. A scorer failing to turn in a score card may result in disqualification.
Score Card Changes: Changes or erasures without scorer's initials can dis¬qualify competitor for that match.
Challenges: $2.00 will be charged for each challenge but will be refunded if challenge is sustained. All scores and awards are tentative until publication of the final bulletin. Competitors should notify the Statistical Officer of any apparent errors within the challenge period.
Equipment: As appropriate for each individual match according to the most current NRA/CMP rules of competition.
Ammunition: Ammunition will be furnished by the competitor. AP, Tracer, and/or incendiary ammunition will not be permitted.
Coaching: Coaching will not be allowed, except in the team match.
Targets: NRA SR, SR-3 and MR-1 bulls eye targets will be used.
Safety: Safety will be paramount in all activities! All rifles will have actions open with clips/magazines removed and an empty chamber indicator inserted into the chamber of the rifle except when on the line during prep period or during firing. Handling of rifles and policing of brass (collection of brass forward of the firing line) will only be permitted at the direction of the Chief Range officer.
Range Rules: Persons appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the range. Children, juniors and pets must be controlled and shall be the responsibility of their sponsors. Parking will be in designated areas only. Anyone violating these rules will be denied range priv¬ileges. Other action may be taken where deemed necessary.
Awards Schedule: Trophies, certificates or cash will be awarded to match and class winners. One award will be given per five entries in each class with a maximum of three awards per class. In the event there are less than three competitors in a class, classes will be combined upward. Unclassified and junior competitors will compete in a separate class for awards. There will be special category awards for: High Senior, High Woman, High Junior. Match 9 (Team Match) trophies will be awarded to the winning High Junior team and cash to the other winning team(s).

Match 2 2 sighting shots and 20 record - Sitting or Kneeling, rapid fire, 200 yards, SR target. Rule 5.8 or 5.10
