So if you sodomize they throw you in prison where, wait for it, you'll get plenty of sodomy. People need to learn to mind their own damn business.

    As George Carlin pointed out:

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post "Thou shalt not steal", "Thou shalt not commit adultery", and "Thou shalt not lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

At least they dropped the push to adopt the Bible as the "State Book".

    Louisiana! Got to love it!

A Constitutionally flawed law! A chance to set the record straight! Nope! Keep this illegal law, cause we what? Want to make a statement?

Doggone it. Our church men's group just finished our new gallows. Does this mean no hanging of heretics?

So...Think about this from a big business perspective.

If you were Hyundai or Toyota, and you were looking for a state to build a new plant in the USA.

Louisiana has a Government which just voted to keep an Unconstitutional Bill on the books which is geared towards arresting gays and who ever else does a crime against nature.

Louisiana has the highest incarceration rate in the world.

We have the highest number of ex-felons in state.

Louisiana still wants to send people to prison for up to 20 years for ONLY POSSESSION of Marijuana...While the exact same drug is legal in 2 US states and also decriminalized in some 14 other states.

It looks like the only industry we will ever have is a Prison Industry.

The problem is that no legislator wants to touch this , for fear of reprisal by the ultra religious. The fact is that its safer for them to do nothing and in effect leave an unconstitutional law on the books which can not be enforced than it is to actually fix the problem. This was a statue that was used by some departments to arrest people soliciting for sex in public parks. I never used this statue, I always used Obscienity as it does not matter the type of sex act, only a public sex act. I am a LEO and specialize in Sex Crimes so this is something I am concerned with.
I have actually spoken to two legislators about this and stated that they should simply re write the statue or write a new one that specifically prohibits solicitation of sex acts between people who are not married or co habitating, of a homo or hetero nature, in any public place specifically listed as public parks, restrooms, schools and colleges, libraries, truck stops, rest area's, making it a misdemanor, or a felony if in a public park or restroom where children are present. I would further exclude bars, restaurants, private clubs, private residences where this could be enforced. This was one of the issues with the Crimes against nature law it was stated that it was "too vauge"
I serously doubt that any legislator will touch it, however if anyone on here is a lobbyist or knows a legislator who would be willing to introduce this bill please pm me I would be more than willing to talk to them and testify at the capitol.

Not only that, Hulk Hogan can solicit The Rock in the Lobby of the RiverCenter for a BJ and nothing can be done about it.
