I have a American Eagle gun safe that was replace with a new one when my house was flooded foe Issac. I haven't worked the dial combination in a good while. I did that tonite and we'll I forgot the combination so it's open with the rams in the closed position. I called Cannon and they don't keep the combinations but for one year. I don't have any paper work for the as that was thrown away. My question is, what is the best way to retrieve the combinations.

Most dial locks come with a tool to change the combo. Call Cannon and ask for tech support to find out if your model will do this. If it does, it is easy as putting the pin in the back of the dial and dialing a new one in. Ask for a new owners manual also. The good thing is that the safe is open. You should be able to access the back of the combo dial from inside the door.

    Good Luck
