I'm not in Jefferson Parish any longer, now in St. Tammany. Glad I made the move. Makes me wonder what jack Strain's views on the 2nd Amendment are. I've never heard any comments from him regarding it.

It sounds exactly like him. His voice and the structure of his comments seem to be consistent.
As far as rights are concerned, the information on those forms should be protected under privacy rights. The general public and government does not have a general need to know. Criminal investigations and traces are an exception of course.

I've never made any qualifying purchase, but I've heard it is EXTREMELY difficult to get a CLEO signature from his office for Class III stuff.

I figured about as much. Listen to him speak sometime. He's a pandering , big spending, big government politician first and foremost..... and he will probably hold the Sheriff position in JP until he chooses to retire.
