    Had a wicked tornado/straight line wind event in the Monroe/West Monroe area. Power line poles snapped in half, 18 wheelers turned over, trees down everywhere, bad stuff! I know there are a couple of guys in my area, hope you and your homes are OK. We got a lot of damage at work, but it missed my tin can.

    I know at St. Francis, on the 7th floor, every window on the west side leaked when the storm hit. One patient had their window open and was out of the room. That room got soaked.
    I saw some pics of some pretty bad damage, including a hotel sign on a car.

    I was driving a Toyota truck back to the shop, wind ripped out the bedliner, a bike, and some other stuff. Have no clue where it all went. Did not know that until today. Thought I was going to go see Dorthy and Toto...

    I live in West Monroe and thankfully only the lights went out. I saw a few trees that had fallen on houses. A tall billboard sign was twisted to an almost unregonisable shape.

    Some crazy twisted signs Wolfie, good to hear from you. Heard today they are calling it a t2 tornado. I was close enough to it to know I never want to experience that again. Think it missed me by a block or two.

    I am glad it missed you. We recently moved and I told my wife that I do not want a house with the potential of a tree falling down on it. Maybe we will go a long time before another tornado hits. Just out of curiosity, did anyone see any sharks come out of the tornado?

    Looked like some great whites were in the center of the storm, no confirmation though. If it had come up from the south instead, would be a different story.
