So previous home owner had this micropure mx4 in the attic brand new. It needs to be hardwired to 24v. My question is can I hook it to the terminals where the thermostat come to? The R And C terminal read 24v. Or do I need to connect to a different area. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, it worked hooked up to the R and C terminals on panel. I did read that it suggested a dedicated 40va transformer. I figure it is already hooked up and working so it works for me. When ac cycles on after 30min of being off you smell a little bit of a metallic smell but dissipates within 30 sec. All in all it works. I'm no technician but I'm sure it won't blow any thing up.
