    wonder how they will get around the atf. According to them every piece of a suppressor is a suppressor in and of itself, therefore you can't legally posses spare parts.

    A few inches make a huge difference when clearing rooms especially when you pie corners ect. IMHO the main reason for it would be fitment into current load out bags/cases or holsters as the average length of current market is around 7 inches and with the ability to add more internal volume ( space for escaping gas to go) it also makes it quieter while shooting. As a side note there are a few ways to make more "space" make it fat and bulky or skinny and long both of these have their pros and cons

    Yeah that is one of my complaints as well. You could use the Saker but would have to get their ASR MAAD mount for the saker to use it on specwar/omega mounts.
