That's interesting but it will not sway the anti 2A crowd one inch. Their chant will always be more laws.

I think this revelation actually helps the anti-Americans. You are missing the code words! "Loophole" & "small retailers usually don't wait and aren't required to."

Anti-Americans will say: "Then WHY aren't they REQUIRED to? After all, had they been "required" to wait; these nine people might still be alive!" There should be no loopholes on safety. :blah: :blah: :blah:

Would a denied firearms purchase, really stop this guy from getting a gun? I once Googled, felons with guns previously confiscated by police "amazing numbers" gun control / controlled gun purchases only affect sane, law abiding citizens.
He had a mission he would have gotten a gun anyway.

The NCIC system does not work as well as anyone would think. There are people denied who have no felonies or any criminal record at all. It takes as long as a year to clear your name after an identity thief gets your name in the database. The Brady(named after an extreme leftest gun control advocate) system has been a waste of time and money.

Maybe he would have still been able to find a gun and commit the crimes and maybe he would not. I think the point here is that the Federal Govt cannot operate any systems, departments or branches with any sort of success. Their failures are everwhere, 21.5 million identities stolen, back ground checks that do not work, Guns run into Mexico, Welfare fraud and abuse, the list goes on and on.

The system is fine, it just needs to be fixed. The problem isn't retailers releasing a gun 3 days into a delay, it's the fact that a background check can be delayed for 3+ days in the first place. If retailers weren't allowed to release a gun at that point, then they would be at the mercy of the NCIS to complete sales. It's not a "loophole", it's a way to keep the doors open of small businesses when the government gets involved in their transactions.

Imagine they did away with the shops' ability to release the guns...then started delaying everyone. It would be a backdoor way to basically institute indefinite waiting periods.

Wouldn't it be nice if phony liberals realized that too? Doesn't it make you wonder how that line of logic is so crystal clear to any person of average intelligence without an agenda and a political side to cheerlead for, but it is lost on those dummies that just think what they are told to?

Think about this!?! If Common Core does what they sold it as; which is promote critical thinking, than shouldn't ideological idiocy be eradicated in a few generations? Or, is it a hopeless cause since phony liberal sheep refuse to accept any premise of logic and fact regardless?

Just remind yourself of "Hands up, Don't Shoot!"

NCIC records will show you a lot about arrests, but they don't often tell you much about pleas/convictions. It's been getting better slowly, but it's amazing how much stuff people get arrested for that never shows any resolution added following prosecution. Some states are better than others with this, and I find LA has gotten much better over the last five years or so, especially with entries to show probation/parole status/dates.

When a Parole Agent is setting up a parole or probation case, the agent himself puts the beginning and ending supervision dates, offense the person is convicted of, etc. on the LA state rap sheet.
