Found this scene in my neighbors driveway. Seems as if the snake tried to eat the snail but wound up getting smothered in the process. Snake was close to 3ft long. Very big snail. I know nothing about identifying snakes. What type is it? BTW the cut on the snakes back are from him hitting it with a shovel but realizing it was already dead after the fact.
