I have seen forum threads elsewhere, with posts showing photos of attempts with this kit. The results I saw based on these photos were such that I consider this process to be a total waste of time and money. The obvious poor quality of the mold included in the kit makes it nearly impossible to cast usable bullets. 22 bullets are hard enough to cast using high quality molds. And I consider myself to be well versed in casting bullets. I'll take a pass on this concept.

Normally 22 rim fire bullets are not cast. They are swagged at a very tremendous rate. About 8 per second. The machine sounds like a machine gun when it is operating.

Good to know. I figured you guys would know. I was thinking the problem would be on the other end. Didn't think much about the bullet. Can't seem to wrap my head around re-priming rimfire brass. Besides, eventually you run out of spaces for fresh firing pin hits. All that tedious trouble along with diminishing chances of the round going bang with each load... might push me over the ledge and round the bend.

One thing for sure though. Shows how desperate some folks are for 22LR.

Just because a thing can be done, doesn't mean it should be done.

Seen these kits before. I've been tempted, but there's always something more useful to spend my money on.
