    Just wanted to update everyone.
    The bill was droped and the ordinance was removed . The commision will eval the curent state law and decide whether or not it needs to be amended .

    Alright, who's the culprit up in Caddo Parish saved up enough to finally afford the phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range?

    I have seen ordinances such as the one proposed here used to severely limit or eliminate activities that some people don't like. It is usually the anti-gun and the anti-hunting crowd that uses these as a way to ban shooting/hunting without actually proposing a law that outright says it. They simply figure out on geographic information system software what distance buffer zone would serve to be a defacto ban on the activity they dislike. If anyone gets wind of this type of tactic being used, get those offending politicians out of office before they succeed in passing something!
