    LOL...

the DD SBR is the most "logical" choice on this list but you'd sure better have a suppressor if you plan on firing that indoors without flashbanging yourself!

Before we know it there will be a list of government approved "Home Defense Weapons".

You will never hear me say you shouldnt be allowed to have "X" unless I was making a point like you did. But dont expect me to not enjoy the thought of some goober lugging around a gun that most SAW gunners hate carrying. Or cring at the though of an sbr being shot inside an enclosed space unsuppressed.

The fact that someone would write an article where these to guns were discussed as "home defense" is deffinately cring worthy. And provides some of us a little free entertainment.

Whitebread, you understand the point I was making. It's that the left views us as crazies.

Yes, we should be able to defend ourselves with an AR-15, but we shouldn't be fueling the fire by saying that a semi-automatic 249 SAW clone (which is marketed as an $8,000 collector's item) is a viable "Home Defense Weapon," let alone call it "Military-Grade."

I chalk it up to the equivalent of Bubba Redneck with his SKS saying he's gonna defend his land from the invading Chinese...

    Wolverines!!

Hey we agree with one another on this one. This is why people think we are crazies. That said I cant help but laugh think of your stereotypical T-bob sporting his sleveless shirt laying down suppressive fire.

Btw a simi-SAW really defeats itself of any usefulness in my humble opinion.

Like I said, this article is calling an Semi-Automatic Collector's Series 249 SAW Clone (with an MSRP of $8,000) a "Home Defense Weapon"

    Sounds fair.

I try to get my wife to practice reloads on her AR-15. I think she gets it, but a 200rd box mag would suit her better. ;)
