If there is any marsh around BEWARE. I was in Hancock County a couple days ago and when the wind died the gnats were horindus.
Clear Springs Rec Area in Bude/Meadville, MS.
Only stayed in the primitive 1 time, it can be somewhat seculuded even with a gravel road leading in.
We usually stayed in the improved section. Really nice up there, was our favorite close spot when we camped.
There's also 13+ miles of hiking/biking trails. Watch for rattle snakes.
