Tornado Technologies may be worth a try. I know they do threading and related work on a number of firearms, including the Walther TPH. Link here. Just passing it along in the event it helps. Cheers. :)

That is the exact company I was planning on using. I hear good things about their work.

Winstone my experience with the currently produced model 21A is limited to one inox version in .22 long rifle. It runs 100% with CCI blazers or mini-mags. In .25acp we have examples of both the 950 and the model 20. I have only used factory full jacketed rounds in them. We my wife and I have had no problems with either model. I would expect the same performance from a 21A in .25acp, but as I said I have not shot one. All of the Berettas I have seen were excellent quality and I would recommend the three models we have to anyone wanting a small semi auto. That being said I would hesitate to recommend .22 long rifle or .25acp for self defense. If that's all you have and you are comfortable with it that is strictly your decision. Dave

I think the little 22 and 25 autos beat the pants off the the little mini revolvers as far as accuracy, ease of shooting and reloading.
The little mini revolvers are cute but hard to deploy and you have to cock the hammer for each shot and trying to reload one in a rush would be a nightmare.
I have a Sterling .25 auto and it's actually quite accurate to at least 15 yards. I can keep all shots in the center of someone's face at that distance.
I had a Taurus PT22 and might could keep the shots in someone's face at 5 yards.

My tph amazingly accurate. I was so surprised when I shot it the first time.

My favorite mouse gun is my Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket. For what it is (with a barrel not much longer than a thimble), it's surprisingly accurate.

I also have a Beretta Model 70 in .32 ACP that is one of the smoothest shooting semiautomatic guns I've ever owned.

I have interest in a colt 1908...they make threaded barrels for it! The beretta 70 is nice. I have a mossad model 71. Very reliable.
