    From my understanding:
Iberia Parish SO Range in New Iberia remains open to public: Wed 12-4 /Sat 8-1 / Sun 12-3.
St Mary SO Range in Franklin still has public hours.
Lafayette SO range plans to reopen to public "soon" - no details, yet.
St Martin SO range should hopefully be available for public hours in around a year, maybe a little sooner: this state-of-the-art range is still under construction.
Of course, Barney's Indoor Range in north Lafayette is still open for a fee.

Anybody know of any others in this area?

    Ed.

St. Mary's range open every weekend? Do I need to bring anything besides targets?

Looks like 9-5. Anyone know if this is accurate?
Is there a rifle range also or handgun only?

the franklin range has 150 yard rifle but only stands to 100 yards. i bring my own NON STEEL targets for 150 yards. no steel allowed at all. also a pistol range. they have target stands but bring your own in case they are all being used. stands are made of wood. not sure if you can have steel stands.

a few months ago it was open to public thursday through saturday 9 to 5. i call before i go.
