Added a shooting deck to my range

If you ever decide to host a shoot on that range please let me know. I've never been able to shoot past 100 yards before.

It appears you are set up exclusively for prone shooting?!? Is that your discipline of choice? Just wondering.

Well, this is actually right outside my backdoor from my house. So in the meantime I can easily run an extension cord for power. And yes, the roof is in the works. Its actually gonna be a 2nd deck up there which will be another shooting platform with stairs going up.

I shoot from the prone when I'm shooting long range. I have a pistol range and carbine range as well.

Like I said before, this is literally my backyard. So I will need to clear with the wife before I just host a bunch of people lol.

Not sure about the ordinances in your area but, some local ordinances require you to be a certain distance from any roads and residences which includes your own home. The ordinance in my area, for example, is 100' from highways and 500' from any residence.
Not trying to be a Debbie downer, and you've likely looked into this already; just trying to help prevent any troubles should the wrong person see you putting this awesome setup to use.

I've got a couple of M14's and 400-500 rounds of 308 if you want to set up a play-day.

(Pollock is not too far from Forest Hill, and in fact I drove thru Forest Hill this morning around 0500 on my way to Lake Charles)

Keep an eye out in the next few weeks. Ill create a post about hosting some members. It will probably be spread out over a few days. I cant host large groups of shooters at once. Maybe once things get flowing and a routine can be established I will host a large group. Maybe even offer some instructors to come teach a class for long range shooting
