I'm looking to get a 2 person sit on top Kayak in the next few months for mainly freshwater fishing. I'm going to a couple demo days as suggested by someone before buying one. Anyone here want to show off pics of your rig?

I have just recently started to fish and have enjoyed fishing from my kayak. I don't have any "rig" photos but its simple set-up.

I bought a 12' Perception sport from Academy. Nothing fancy but I intended it more for paddle sport than fishing. I carry an ice chest and tackle box, and am the proud owner of two fishing poles! LOL.
My kayak tracks very well, and is easy to paddle.

You can take the advise of Mr. Young Marine, but you're doing it wrong if you're paddling that much!!!!

If you plan to strictly fish from the kayak there are far better options than an Academy kayak for sure. More stable platforms, fish wells, maneuverability.

I've been kayak fishing for about 4 years now and currently own a 2015 Hobie Outback.

Couple questions to ask yourself: How much do you wanna spend? Will the kayak ever be used as a solo kayak? What's the main use of the kayak (fishing, camping, just getting on the water)? What will be the total weight in the kayak (people, gear, food, drinks, everything)?
