A member here, who happens to be a good buddy of mine, dropped off a couple knives that were in need of some new pants. With the help of some Mississippi Craft Beer, I knocked out the first sheath yesterday evening. The first (larger) knife is a Battle Horse Knives Bushcrafter and the second (smaller) knife is a brand new Selby Knives Little Folsom.

Since the BHK Bushcrafter is almost dagger-like, the sheath came out very square. I still have to attach the mounting hardware, for however he wants to mount it to his pack, but the retention is perfect and the thumb ramp allows easy one handed removal.

Which brew is that? Haven't seen that one but every Southern Prohibition I've tried thus far has been great.

Southern Prohibition Ragana. It's part of their Cicada (Seasonal) Series. I bought three 4-packs and two Barrel Aged Ragana bombers when I could. It's in my top 10 beers. It may not be amazing compared to BCBS and KBS, but I really enjoy it.

    Very nice execution.

Though I prefer the taco style, I'm more of a minimalist when it comes to sheaths. I recently made one that I couldn't get the blade from rubbing. First sheath had one coat of tape, to finally the 3rd sheath had 3. It would work, but wasn't smooth insertion. Eventually when the knife owner got it, he figured out the blade had a bad heat treat and warped slightly laterally. It all made sense after that.
