I have some wheels I was trying to sell and a guy wants to trade me a Rem 870 16g, gun bag and some ammo. How hard do y'all think it would be to sell on here? I need to let him know if I would trade him but don't know much about the popularity of 16g shotguns. Any feed back is appreciated and I apologize if this isn't allowed in the forum.

16 gauge is a fine gun for rabbits and squirrels. You will not be able to find steel shot for waterfowl hunting. Might be a hard sale. Not real popular and the ammo si hard to find and expensive since they don't make a lot of it.

Depending condition, choke, and barrel length you can realistically expect between $250-$400. It's a pretty niche market for a gun like that so finding the right buyer could be difficult.

Federal actually makes a couple loads of steel speed-shok still.
