It was found in Afghanistan. If parts kits didn't cost so much I would have copied it.
I barely am familiar with the AK. I tried to build an AMD it shoots but that's about it. I appreciate the functionality. I bought a MAK 90. It is still original and may stay in the original configuration. It seems to be well built and sturdy as well as a straight shooter. I don't like the thumbhole stock but I leave it as a reminder of circumvention of Clinton Ban. There is no provision for attachments or optics but that's ok the photo above demonstrates the duct tape adaptation for our situation. I have so little experience with the platform that yeah MAK 90 is da bomb, or a real AMD65, or one not made by me, although the wire stock sucks for aiming.
I want one. Are they functional?
Edit: I researched it and it is a device used to increase pressure in short barrels. Looks cool though.

Love my wasr 10 that I bought here. Problem is its uncomfortable. I looked at the adapter to use a ar stock. Good idea? Or bad? Opinions?
