So was also wondering if a thumb brake holster would be better? If so what one?

Only 2 I see in IWB are:
1) Galco Summer Comfort (have one for my 6906 S&W and like it}
2} DeSantis Cozy Partner looks to be made close to the same as the Galco one, but has a little added material on the sides
