Destin at Smarter Everyday has made a see threw Potato Gun. That doesn't sound like much but add a high speed camera at night and it's Freakin Awesome!!! He uses 2 different ignition points so I'd like to see him run the spuds threw a crono and compare the two. Watch it, you just mite leant sum tin.

I made a potato gun back in the 90's -- used to put a potato in and then drop a golf ball in and shoot it in the across the Mississippi River......potato used to go about 1/4 way but the golf pall would go well over 1/2 across the river! Lots of fun......

A railroad spike in a potato will go through a car door.

    4 seconds of AquaNet
    +
    2 seconds of starting fluid

    A very hot mix

Remember PCV glue vapors are explosive on a newly glued chamber if you want to test the ignitor...
Lost hair and skin that time.
