    I'm asking for recommendations for a gunsmith to clean up, semi-restore a Winchseter model 1873.
    The action is free and functions. Would like to have it cleaned up and see if it is safe to shoot.

    Just clean it, don't do any restoration work, that is unless your willing to drop the coin to have Doug Turnbull do his magic on it, as it will ruin the value. Jims firearms can clean it and get it shooting.
