    Back on topic;

    Barry J have you checked out Loctite 222? It's made specifically for your application.

    It was done professionally with no Loctite. Too close to hunting season to take it apart to add Loctite. I will watch it and decide what to do in the spring. I'm considering adding a muzzle brake, so the scope will probably have to come off anyway.

    Get a paint marker and mark the screws and the mount. You will have a visual if something moves.
